  1. How do I contact you?

Please feel free to contact us at help@rediswhite.com.

Or send us a message directly at http://rediswhite.com/contact. We can't take inbound calls at this point but will respond to you via email or phone when you email us.

  2. What is your product pricing?

Our standard tee shirts vary from $12-20+, plus shipping and handling calculated during the checkout process. Check out the shirts in the Shop section for specific prices. The company may offer higher quality tees or other products at different pricing. All product pricing is available on the product pages.

  3. How does rediswhite.com support the causes I care about?

The Company has a heart for not for profits, ministries and missions. It supports them in two ways: 1) By providing discounts and fundraising opportunities for church and ministry customers on its site, and by 2) direct financial contribution to a series of causes. Over the past year alone, the company has financially supported bringing computers to children of the third world, building schools in civil-war torn Angola, and fighting human trafficking and other social injustices.

  4. Will my church, ministry, mission get a discount? Can you help us fundraise?

We currently offer standard discounts to churches, ministries, missions, and work with groups to determine quantity discounts on a purchase by purchase basis. In addition, we have lots of ideas around fundraising to help your group (a substantial portion of purchases can be rebated to your organization to help you in your fundraising efforts). Just email us at help@rediswhite.com for details. We want to support you.

  5. I want to send a gift- do you sell gift certificates?

Yes! New for the 2009 Christmas season, we're offering "One Free Tee + Shipping" gift cards for $20. The recipient can select any regular priced RedisWhite t-shirt design on the site! Find them here: http://rediswhite.com/items/48-riw-gift-cards.

  6. What is your return policy? Do you provide refunds or credit?

Red is White cannot issue refunds, but if you send us back a new, unwashed tee in its original condition we will credit your account. Just email help@rediswhite.com and we'll email you the return label to send your shirt back. Please include the form to let us know why you're returning and whether you need an exchange or an account credit. Credits expire after 18 months. Returns can take a week or so after we receive them to process.

  7. Will you pay for return shipping?

If you received the wrong item or if the item is defective, send it back regular mail and we will credit your account with the postage we see on your envelope. We will not reimburse for expedited shipping and we cannot reimburse for the original S&H charges.

  8. How do I use a coupon (discount code)?

You can enter a coupon code during the first step of the checkout process. See the Discount section and the space to enter the Code. You can only use ONE code per order. The coupon amount will be deducted off the order.

  10. Can I make changes to my order?

Adding to an order: Once you have placed an order, you can't add an item to it. You will have to create another order.

Questions or other changes: If you have questions about the order you placed, you can check on status at www.rediswhite.com/orders/lookup or email help@rediswhite.com. We will do our best to accommodate your changes if we haven't fully processed your order. Otherwise you will have to make change through our return process.

  11. Can I stop by and pick up my order?

If you're in the Southern California area and would prefer to swing through Murrieta and pick up your shirt, meet the RedisWhite crew, and save on shipping, we'd be more than happy to meet you :) Drop us a line at help@rediswhite.com and we'll give you directions how to find us.

  12. Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?

By popular demand we are now offering international shipping to anywhere in the world. At present, we use the U.S. Postal Service for all our shipping. Costs will vary based on the weight of the items and whether you want expedited service. We typically ship within a few days of receiving the order. Generally speaking, for shipments in the continental United States, we use the following chart for Shipping and Handling:

    Domestic Shipping

    • Shipping for the first shirt: $3.25
    • Shipping for the next shirts up to 100: $1.50
    • Shipping for each shirt above 100: $1.00

    International Shipping

    • Shipping for the first shirt: $5.25
    • Shipping for the next shirts up to 4: $3.25
    • Shipping for each shirt above 4: $2.00
  13. Can I track my shipment?

You will be emailed a shipping confirmation notice when we ship your item(s). We generally drop packages in the mail USPS First Class to save you money on shipping. If your shirt is taking an unusually long time to arrive let us know.

  14. How do you choose which designs to print? How are the winning submissions chosen?

Our scoring system and comments from you all guides our choices. It's a combination of things- 1) we like designs to typically be on the site for several weeks so that people get a chance to engage with the designs and vote. 2) We look for high scores and engaging comments. In the end, we use all of that to help us determine what designs our audience wants to wear and we make a decision.

  15. Is there a way I can increase my chances of winning?

Besides creating a great design, increase your odds of winning by promoting your submission to your family and friends. Anyone can rate and comment. They just have to register (one vote per design per user).

  16. I submitted words for artist inspiration and/or a tee design but don't see it on the site...why not?

Sorry, submissions will not show up instantaneously. We welcome all tee designs with open arms, but we reserve the right to screen all designs before posting. We do this to reduce the number of similar-looking designs or inspirational words, or to keep in line with the rediswhite.com voice and our overall vision for the site. Sometimes a design will not be printable on apparel, and would need to be reworked. We love cool phrases, but discourage long verbatim scripture citations. Be succinct and creative when submitting words to inspire artists, and it will be posted. You will see we are trying to do something a little more creative, something with a broader vision, than many spiritually oriented sites today. We have much more detail around the design submission in our submission kit materials. Take a look and you will get a better idea who we are.

  17. What are the most common reasons designs are not accepted? What can I do?

Many designs that are submitted are declined. Commonly, it is because the designs themselves need more development. Or sometimes, the designs are a bit too literal or take-offs of commercial tee designs for our site. We have two suggestions: 1) Post your design to the critique board at CreativeMYK.com. You probably know the site- It's great. We love it. We encourage people to put designs up on the critique board for comments there, resubmitting after reviewing comments and reworking. 2) Take a look at our shop and rate sections, to get a better idea of the level of developed designs that are in keeping with the character of RedisWhite.com designs. Our process isn't perfect, but we try to apply a high consistent bar in line with what we are trying to do. Our shop and rate sections are pretty good examples. Please know, many artists continue to develop and rework designs to enable them to better fit into rediswhite.com and our audience. In fact some recent winners had their winning designs declined in their original form.

  18. What do I get if I submit a tee?

Artists who submit designs that pass screening get to see their designs posted! If you win, you'll get a guaranteed $100 in store credit to RedisWhite, plus $3.00 royalty per t-shirt sold. The sky's the limit with how much money your shirt design can earn you. We will begin to mail royalty checks quarterly starting the end of Q1 in 2010 (March 30th). If your design wins, the more family and friends buy your t-shirt, the larger your paycheck will be so spread the word!

  19. What do I get if I submit words for inspiration?

We'd love for you to submit for the joy of it! It's fun! If your words get on a winning shirt you will get $50 in cash and $50 in credit to spend on rediswhite.com.

  20. How do I win if I submit words to inspire designers?

So far, we have had several winners use the inspiration of the rediswhite.com community who submitted words. For a submitter to win, the words must be incorporated completely and verbatim into a winning shirt design (typically artists will derive inspiration from your words and design around them). The first design submitted with the exact words of your submission, in the previous 18 months, will be determined to be the winner. It is fairly common for words to be resubmitted over time (great minds think alike...). The first words submitted only, as described above, will be the winner.

  21. How do I place an order?

Find the items that you want to purchase. You can go to http://rediswhite.com/shop

On our home page, it's in the SHOP section. Otherwise, click the SHOP tab at the top of any page and let'er rip.

From the product page choose the style of apparel you want, and the size and quantity and click the "size" button to add it to your cart.

Feel free to continue to browse or add more items to your cart.

When your cart has all that you want to purchase (at least for that day), you can begin the checkout process. It's easy. You can always make changes to your order then.

We will help you verify your order and get shipping and billing information. Then your order will be placed (yay!). You will receive an order confirmation email. When your order has been shipped, you will receive a final email letting you know it has gone out.

  22. Can you hold a shirt for me to buy later?

Nope, sorry. You can always add it to your cart to come back later. But doing that won't guarantee that it will still be there when you come back. We want to keep limited editions, limited runs of our shirts, so that kind of means that quantities are limited.

  23. Is the site secure?

Red is White won't give your personal info to a third party. In addition, for your security, we do not store your credit card information at any time. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.

  24. How do I submit to the photo gallery?

Go to http://rediswhite.com/shop, browse for the tee that you're wearing in your picture, on the right side of the page in a section called "stage", click "upload yours" and follow the instructions on that page.

  25. Why do I see sales tax?

If you live in California, we are required to charge CA sales tax of 8.75%. Rules are rules :P

  26. How did RedisWhite begin?

Rediswhite.com came together when a group of diverse people (Lisa and Sharon in Illinois, Steve and Garth in California and Brandon in Wisconsin) met around a similar vision- what if we were a place where designers from all over the world could come and share the designs that were inspired by their faith? Sweet, contemporary, awesome quality designs. The kind of designs that we weren't seeing much in the marketplace. And the community could comment on these designs and choose the winners to become products.

As only God can do, this group that had never met, found each other. The diverse team, with hearts for God, design, web development and business created rediswhite.com in 2008. Today the site has cool tees and a chance for people to share their perspective on life and their faith. Real life. Real faith.

  27. What is the Rediswhite.com vision?

Our dream is to be the best place for contemporary faith inspired design, and come along side young designers with upfront and ongoing royalties, a forum, and the know-how to bring these designs to sweet clothes and other products in the marketplace.

  28. What's with the Rooster?

We were looking for a fun company mascot, and our design team came up with the RiW rooster. We love him. He is what we say we are - loud, expressive, colorful. Sometimes a little over the top. And for those of us whose hearts go deep in our faith, there is a lot of symbolism around the rooster that means something to us - see Pete Diggity's blog http://rediswhite.com/articles/2008/8/why-is-there-a-rooster-on-my-shirt where he talked about it. Things like the dawn, new life, things that arouse our conscience in big ways.

  29. How do your tees fit?

Our tees are lightweight and soft. For guys we, buy Anvil and Pima tees. They are a bit form-fitting, made out of ringspun cotton. For gals, we use Bella tees, junior-sized. Some of our first designs were printed on what we call "Gal's Tee" which is a bit shorter than either the "Gal's Longer Tee" or the "Gal's Longer Fitted Tee". You can see from some of the pictures we took how each of them fits. The "Longer Fitted Tee" has a touch of spandex and is fitted and huggie. They run on the small side, so if in doubt, order a size larger.
